Khristov Returns to F4 U.S. Lineup

Vincent Khristov of Delray Beach, Florida, returns to Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda ready to tackle his second season in his No. 3 Ligier JS F4 machine. Joining the Dallas-based team Crosslink/Kiwi Motorsport, Khristov kicks off the season on April 27-29 at Virginia International Raceway.

"I am really looking forward to running with Crosslink/Kiwi Motorsport this year," said Khristov. "It is such a strong team with every member having a deep-rooted history in racing. I feel it's a privilege to be working with them. I’m excited to be a part of the F4 US Championship again in 2018."

At 39-years-old, Khristov started his racing career a little later than the average F4 U.S. driver, however, that didn't stop him from being competitive last season. Khristov used his rookie F4 U.S. season to develop his race-craft, adding to his team's Top-5 overall season placement in the team championship. He also participated in the 2015 Bertil Roos 5 Day Road Racing School and the 2015-2016 Skip Barber Winter Series. Khristov holds the track record for the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series event at NOLA Motorsports Park in New Orleans.

“We had Vincent out for a test day recently and he showed great pace," Crosslink/Kiwi Motorsport co-owner Garry Orton said. "After not having been brought up in racing and starting his race career a little later in life, we are excited for him to challenge himself for his best result yet.  We will all be working together to help him do just that. His strong work ethic and friendly demeanor makes him a pleasure to work with."

In a strategic partnership packed with experience and ambition, Kiwi Motorsport and Crosslink Racing merged during the off-season to become one in an effort to defeat all-comers in 2018. The top-two international F4 U.S. teams united in a bold attempt to win both the 2018 F4 U.S. Championship and the inaugural Formula 3 Americas Championship Powered by Honda.

"Crosslink/Kiwi Motorsport is looking forward to providing all its drivers with time behind the wheel, the knowledge and training on and off the track to excel in the sport to achieve their personal best," said team co-owner Teena Larsen.

Crosslink/Kiwi Motorsport is still taking driver applications for the 2018 season. Interested parties can contact Larsen via e-mail teena@teenalarsen.com or by phone 682.208.4754.  facebook: @crosslinkkiwimotorsport
