"Better to start later than never...Let's go racing!"
June 24, 2020 - Alliance Racing has come back stronger than ever with a six-driver lineup in 2020. Set to take their first green flag of the Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda season at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course this weekend, the Gas Monkey Energy branded lineup includes rookie competitors Will Holtz, and Ayrton Ori while David Dalton Jr., Hayden Bowlsbey and David Burketh join the only returning driver from 2019 in Will Edwards.
"We have had a great off-season test program that we carried into our extra time waiting to race due to COVID-19 and because of that, we are excited and ready to go," explained Toney Edwards. "We had a good learning year in 2019 and am confident in our drivers in 2020. We have our goals set and will look to check some of those boxes off the list in Ohio."
Completing test days at Motorsports Park in Hastings, Nebraska and then a two-day test at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Alliance Racing launched their ADDA (Alliance Driver Development Academy) program and will continue to expand that in the future.
Edwards continued, "Our goal is to introduce new drivers to F4 and help bring competitors into a new series. We are offering affordable programs to make sure we can get this done as well as provide each driver the track time that they need. We have big plans for both ADDA and Alliance Racing in the future."
With a triple header weekend in store, Alliance Racing drivers will hit the track on June 25th for a Promoters Test Day before additional practice continues on Friday, June 26th. Wheel-to-wheel action will commence on the 27th and 28th. Please stay tuned to the Alliance Racing social media pages for news, information, photos and results from the event weekend.
