LEXINGTON, Ohi. (Thursday June 25, 2020) – Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD) today confirmed that Chase Hyland will complete its driver line-up for the 2020 F4 U.S. Championship season Powered by Honda. Hyland, who hails from Cherry Hills Village, Col, is making the transition to open wheel racing after gaining successful experience in the Sprint Car world. With plenty of experience available to him courtesy of his teammates and the JHDD crew members, Hyland is excited about the challenge that awaits him this season. “It’s fantastic to be able to announce my racing plans for this year,” commented the 15-year old. “I have to thank PitLogic for helping this all come together, along with MedPro Healthcare Solutions and Jay Howard for all of their support. I can’t wait to be on track here at Mid-Ohio and get the season started!”
After a longer off-season than normal, team-owner Jay Howard is delighted to welcome Hyland to the team, and along with all of the other drivers under the JHDD tent, he is excited to see what his young prospects can achieve throughout the 2020 season. “Welcoming Chase to JHDD is great news for us as a team,” outlined Howard. “It will be exciting to help him adapt to single seaters, and with the crew we have in place along with all of the data we have to share between teammates, I am excited to see how he progresses throughout the course of the season. I am looking forward to all of us getting the season underway this weekend at Mid-Ohio.” JHDD and Hyalnd’s 2020 racing season gets underway at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course this week, June 25 – 28, with opening practice scheduled to begin at 4:30pm ET this afternoon. Fans can follow all of the action via the Race Monitor App and JHDD social media channels.
