CHARLOTTE (February 13, 2025) — SpeedTour is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Simshop, which names Simshop the Official Simulator of the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli, Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA), Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas), Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.) and SpeedTour events. The company’s racing simulators are a highlighted component of the SpeedTour Town Center, which will also feature hospitality and special event staging, and become home to future driver appearances, sponsor events and more.
Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Simshop was founded in 2019 to serve both professional and amateur drivers interested in improving their driving skills within a safe, cost-effective simulation installation. From Simshop’s modest beginnings to its role as premier supplier and installer of innovative racing simulation equipment, they’ve been driven by their love for the sport of racing - both virtual and in real life.
"Partnering with SpeedTour is an exciting opportunity for Simshop to showcase how our advanced simulators can bridge the gap between virtual and real-world racing,” said Simshop CEO Wyatt Gooden. “These tools are more than just entertainment; they offer a safe and effective way for drivers of all levels to practice and refine their skills, ultimately becoming more confident and safer on the road."
As part of their partnership, Simshop has provided four simulators for the SpeedTour Sim Trailer, allowing fans to race against each other and compare their times to professional drivers in Trans Am, SVRA, FR Americas, F4 U.S. and other featured guests. The SpeedTour Sim Trailer made its debut last season at Circuit of The Americas and will be part of the spectator experience at the season opener at Sebring International Raceway, February 21-23.
"We are excited to welcome Simshop to the SpeedTour family,” said SpeedTour founder Tony Parella. “Our SpeedTour Town Center—and specifically, the SpeedTour Sim Trailer—is a gamechanger for our spectator experience. We know that the addition of the Simshop simulators makes our events more fun and interactive, bringing fans even closer to the action while allowing them to experience racing around the track. In combination with our world-class racing and open paddocks, we are able to offer the best events for the best value in motorsports.”
SpeedTour returns to the track for the season-opening Sebring SpeedTour next week.
